Flexible Care Options for Every Family in Our Village

We Offer:

Full-Time Child Care: Our Most Comprehensive Care Option

Consistent, reliable care that feels like a second home. Children thrive in predictable routines that blend play-based learning, Pre-K and kindergarten readiness, outdoor time, and nurturing support—four to five days a week.

Part-Time Child Care: Consistency With Built-In Flexibility

Ideal for families who want reliable weekly care without a full-time commitment. Set days provide structure and connection, while children enjoy the same play-based learning and Pre-K readiness within a flexible schedule.

Drop-In Child Care: Care When You Need It—Only When You Need It

Our most flexible option with zero long-term commitment. Reserve care as needed and pay only for the time you reserved from us, while your child enjoys enriching play-based learning, socialization, and Pre-K activities—whether it’s for an hour, a day, or a week.

Our flexible, community-driven model supports both scheduled and occasional childcare needs while maintaining consistency and quality across our Erie-based program.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–5 p.m.

Our Childcare Philosophy

At Blueberry Village Playhouse, we embrace a flexible and dynamic learning environment designed to adapt to the evolving needs of children and families in Erie and surrounding areas.  By blending Experience Curriculum with our own in-house lesson planning, we remain intentional while staying responsive—meeting children where they are and allowing space for curiosity, creativity, and growth.

Our program is rooted in community. Whether a family needs consistent weekly care or occasional support, Blueberry Village is built to adapt while maintaining structure, consistency, and high-quality care. Drop-in families blend seamlessly into our daily rhythm and are welcomed into the same nurturing environment, routines, and learning experiences as our contracted families.

The Heart of Our Village: Our Child Development Focus Areas

A woman smiles and poses for a selfie with three young children outdoors on a sunny day. The children are smiling or looking at the camera, and the group appears happy and close together.

At Blueberry Village Playhouse, we intentionally support the whole child through:

  • Social & Emotional Development – Encouraging kindness, confidence, independence, and emotional awareness in a nurturing daycare setting
  • Age-Appropriate Learning – Hands-on, play-based early childhood education experiences
  • Creative Exploration – Music, art, movement, and imagination-driven activities
  • Health & Nutrition – Balanced meals, snacks, and food exploration (USDA/CACFP compliant)
  • Physical Play – Indoor and outdoor movement opportunities daily

Our approach centers on praising effort, fostering curiosity, and embracing diversity.
